Pan-Fried Onion Slices

INGREDIENTS |
- 2 large onions (about 10 to 12 ounces each), peeled and sliced 1/2 inch thick

1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS |
In a skillet, cook onion in oil for eight to 10 minutes or until onions are tender, turning once halfway through cooking time. Sprinkle with cheese, oregano, and pepper; heat until cheese is melted. |
