Pear Saute with Raspberry Sauce

INGREDIENTS |
- 6 pears

Juice from 1 lemon
-
2 tablespoons butter
-
1/2 cup raspberry preserves
-
1 teaspoon sugar
-
Sliced almonds (for garnish)

Whipped cream (for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS |
Peel and core pears. Slice pears and coat with lemon juice. Chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes. In a large pan, melt butter over high heat. Add pears and saute for four minutes, sprinkling with sugar while turning. Remove pears to a serving dish. Add raspberry preserves to pan and continue to stir until reduced to a glaze. Spoon raspberry sauce over pears; garnish with whipped cream |
