Pear Saute with Raspberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 6 pears
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup raspberry preserves
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Sliced almonds (for garnish)
  • Whipped cream (for garnish)

Instructions


Peel and core pears. Slice pears and coat with lemon juice. Chill in refrigerator for
15 minutes.
In a large pan, melt butter over high heat. Add pears and saute for four minutes, sprinkling with sugar while turning. Remove pears to a serving dish.
Add raspberry preserves to pan and continue to stir until reduced to a glaze. Spoon raspberry sauce over pears; garnish with whipped cream
