Taco Soup

INGREDIENTS |
- 2 lbs. ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

2 (14.5 oz.) cans tomatoes,

chopped
-
1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans,

undrained
-
1 (15 oz.) can red kidney
-
beans, undrained
-
1 (15 oz.) can yellow
-
hominy, undrained
-
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies,
-
undrained
-
1½ cups water
-
1 (1.25 oz.) pkg. taco
-
seasoning mix
-
1 (4 oz.) pkg. ranch salad
-
dressing mix
-
¼ tsp. salt
-
½ tsp. black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS |
Cook ground beef and onion until meat is brown. Drain. Add remaining ingredients and cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Makes 13 cups. |
