Taco Soup

Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 (14.5 oz.) cans tomatoes,
chopped
1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans,
undrained
1 (15 oz.) can red kidney
beans, undrained
1 (15 oz.) can yellow
hominy, undrained
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies,
undrained
1½ cups water
1 (1.25 oz.) pkg. taco
seasoning mix
1 (4 oz.) pkg. ranch salad
dressing mix
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. black pepper
Instructions
Cook ground beef and onion until meat is brown. Drain. Add remaining ingredients and cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Makes 13 cups.
