Ramen Noodle Salad

INGREDIENTS |
- ½ cup sunflower seeds

2 packages Ramen noodles, broken up (do not use flavor packs that are included with the noodles)

¾ cup slivered almonds
-
4 tablespoons butter
-
1 large spur broccoli, cut up

1 head Romaine lettuce or your favorite spring lettuce, cut up

5 tablespoons green onions, chopped

Dressing:
-
½ cup salad oil
-
¾ cup sugar
-
½ cup white vinegar
-
3 teaspoons soy sauce

INSTRUCTIONS |
Sauté sunflower seeds, Ramen noodles, and almonds in the butter until lightly brown. Drain on paper towels until cooled. Mix broccoli, lettuce, and green onions together. Dressing: Mix dressing in a glass jar and shake well. Combine salad mixture, topping, and dressing just before serving. Enjoy. |
