Ramen Noodle Salad

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 packages Ramen noodles, broken up (do not use flavor packs that are included with
  • the noodles)
  • ¾ cup slivered almonds
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large spur broccoli, cut up
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce or your favorite spring lettuce, cut up
  • 5 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • Dressing:
  • ½ cup salad oil
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons soy sauce
  • Instructions


    Sauté sunflower seeds, Ramen noodles, and almonds in the butter until lightly brown. Drain on paper towels until cooled. Mix broccoli, lettuce, and green onions together.
    Dressing: Mix dressing in a glass jar and shake well. Combine salad mixture, topping, and dressing just before serving. Enjoy.
