Squash Balls

INGREDIENTS |
- 1½ cups squash

1 small onion, chopped

Salt to taste

1 egg
-
½ cup flour
-
½ tablespoon baking powder
-
Crushed corn flakes
-
Oil for deep-frying

INSTRUCTIONS |
Cook squash with onion. Salt to taste; drain well. Mix with egg, flour, and baking powder. Form into small balls and roll in crushed corn flakes. Deep-fry in oil until golden brown. Serve hot. |
