Appetizers - Squash Balls



INGREDIENTS
  • 1½ cups squash
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ tablespoon baking powder
  • Crushed corn flakes
  • Oil for deep-frying

INSTRUCTIONS
Cook squash with onion. Salt to taste; drain well. Mix with egg, flour, and baking powder. Form into small balls and roll in crushed corn flakes.
Deep-fry in oil until golden brown. Serve hot.
