INGREDIENTS |
- 4 eggs, separated

1 cup milk

1 1/2 cups self-rising flour, sifted

2 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon oil

1 large apple, peeled and chopped

Canned or homemade applesauce

INSTRUCTIONS |
Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff. To the egg yolks, add milk, sifted flour, sugar, and oil. Mix well. Fold in egg whites and chopped apple. Fry pancakes in a well-greased frying pan. Top with hot applesauce. Serves three or four. |
