Apfel Eierkuchen

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour, sifted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 large apple, peeled and chopped
  • Canned or homemade applesauce

Instructions


Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff. To the egg yolks, add milk, sifted flour,
sugar, and oil. Mix well. Fold in egg whites and chopped apple. Fry pancakes in a well-greased frying pan. Top with hot applesauce. Serves three or four.
