Breads, Rolls, and Muffins -
Vegetable Pizza

INGREDIENTS |
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine

2 tablespoons sugar

1/4 cup boiling water
-
1 small egg, beaten
-
11/2 cups flour
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
1/4 cup warm water
-
1 pint sour cream or 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese

1 cup salad dressing
-
1 package ranch dressing mix
-
1/4 pound bacon, fried and crumbled

Raw vegetables of your choice: broccoli, cauliflower, onions, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, mushrooms, etc.

2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded

INSTRUCTIONS |
Combine butter, sugar, and boiling water; stir until dissolved. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add egg, flour, and salt. Add to first mixture and mix well. Spread in pizza pan. Bake at 325° until golden brown.
Combine sour cream or cream cheese, salad dressing, and ranch dressing mix; stir well. Spread over cooled crust. Chop or slice your choice of vegetables and arrange over dressing mix. Top with crumbled bacon and shredded cheese. Yield: Six to eight servings.
