Rice and Pasta -
Japanese Fried Spaghetti

INGREDIENTS |
- 1(8-ounce) package thin spaghetti

1/2 pound sliced bacon

2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
-
7-8 scallions, chopped

6-8 cups finely shredded cabbage
-
3 tablespoons soy sauce

INSTRUCTIONS |
Cook spaghetti according to package directions (do not overcook); drain. Chop bacon and fry until crisp; remove from pan and discard all but 2 tablespoons drippings. Stir-fry garlic and scallions in bacon fat for one minute. Add cabbage; stir-fry two minutes. Add cooked spaghetti and bacon to cabbage mixture and toss well. Add soy sauce and toss until combined. |
