Japanese Fried Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1(8-ounce) package thin spaghetti
  • 1/2 pound sliced bacon
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 7-8 scallions, chopped
  • 6-8 cups finely shredded cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions


Cook spaghetti according to package directions (do not overcook); drain. Chop bacon and fry until crisp; remove from pan and discard all but 2 tablespoons drippings.
Stir-fry garlic and scallions in bacon fat for one minute. Add cabbage; stir-fry two minutes. Add cooked spaghetti and bacon to cabbage mixture and toss well. Add soy sauce and toss until combined.
