Deviled Doggies

INGREDIENTS |
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1 cup milk

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

6 tablespoons cocoa

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream filling:
-
3/4 cup butter, softened
-
3/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted

1 teaspoon vanilla
-
1/2 cup marshmallow cream

INSTRUCTIONS |
Cream butter and gradually add sugar; beat well. Beat egg and milk together. Add to butter and sugar mixture. Combine flour, cocoa, soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Stir in vanilla and mix well. By teaspoon, drop two inches apart onto cookie sheet. Bake at 400° F. for eight minutes.
Cream filling: Cream butter and sugar in small bowl until light and fluffy. Add marshmallow cream and vanilla; mix well. Spread mixture onto cookie and top with another cookie. |
