Deviled Doggies

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Cream filling:
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow cream
  • Instructions


    Cream butter and gradually add sugar; beat well. Beat egg and milk together. Add to butter and sugar mixture. Combine flour, cocoa, soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Stir in vanilla and mix well. By teaspoon, drop two inches apart onto cookie sheet. Bake at 400° F. for eight minutes.
    Cream filling:
    Cream butter and sugar in small bowl until light and fluffy. Add marshmallow cream and vanilla; mix well. Spread mixture onto cookie and top with another cookie.
