Batter:

1 cup plain flour

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla

Pinch of salt

Egg-size lump of butter

INSTRUCTIONS |
Combine sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Mix batter ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls into boiling sauce. Bake at 325° until done, about 25 to 30 minutes. |
