Pink Cherry Cupcakes

INGREDIENTS |
- 21/4 cups flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 (5-ounce) jar maraschino cherries

Milk
-
2 eggs
-
1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened

3/4 cup sugar

INSTRUCTIONS |
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Drain cherries, reserving syrup; add enough milk to syrup to make 2/3 cup. Mix syrup, eggs, vanilla, butter or margarine, sugar, and cherries until blended. Add to dry ingredients; mix until smooth. Spray a muffin pan with nonstick spray. Fill cups with batter and bake at 325° for 30-35 minutes or until done. |
