Sauces and Marinades - Caramel-Mallow Sauce



INGREDIENTS
  • 15 cellophane-wrapped caramels
  • ½ cup milk
  • 14 large marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ teaspoon burnt sugar flavoring (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon butter flavoring (optional)
  • Dash of salt

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is melted into a smooth sauce. Use over ice cream, white cake, or spice cake. Store sauce in refrigerator.
