Poultry and Eggs - Dixie Eggs



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 dozen eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1/4 pound processed cheese
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 24 biscuits
  • Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
Fry bacon until crisp and reserve drippings. In an oblong casserole dish, slice eggs, crumble bacon, and chop cheese.

Heat bacon drippings in skillet until hot. Add 1/2 cup flour, salt, and pepper. Brown slightly then add water or milk to make gravy. Pour gravy over bacon, egg, and cheese mixture in casserole dish.

Bake at 400° F. until bubbly in center. Serve spooned over hot biscuits.
