Soups - Lamb Stew



INGREDIENTS
  • 2 pounds lamb, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 onions, cut into chunks
  • 3 turnips, cut into chunks
  • 6 large potatoes, cubed
  • 6 carrots, cubed
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oil in a deep skillet and brown lamb cubes. Drain excess fat. Cover meat with boiling water and salt. Simmer one hour. Add onions, turnips, potatoes, and carrots. Simmer another hour. Add green beans and simmer for two minutes. Serve, garnished with parsley.
