Desserts - Baked Custard for Two



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS
Lightly beat egg in a small bowl. Add milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Pour into two ungreased, 6-ounce custard cups. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Set cups in a baking pan containing 1/2 to 1 inch of hot water. Bake, uncovered, at 350ยบ for 35 minutes or until set.
