Desserts - Yogurt Coffee Cake

  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Topping:
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Cream together butter and 1 cup sugar; add eggs and mix well. Sift flour and resift with baking powder and soda. Add dry ingredients alternately with yogurt to egg mixture. Add vanilla and mix well.
Combine topping ingredients. Pour half of batter into a greased and floured bundt pan. Cover with half of topping. Add remaining batter and cover with remaining topping. Bake at 350ยบ for 40 minutes.
