Meats & Seafood - ‘It’s-in-There’ Burgers



INGREDIENTS
  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 1 tube Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 3 to 4 dashes hot sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Swiss or Monterey Jack cheese slices

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Shape into patties; flatten but do not pound. Grill until meat reaches desired doneness. Top with cheese just before removing, allowing it to melt.
