INGREDIENTS |
- 3/4 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped celery

1/4 cup chopped green pepper

2 cloves garlic

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

2 cups chopped fully cooked ham

1 pound ground beef, fried and drained

1 (15-ounce) can tomatoes with liquid, chopped

1 cup water
-
1 teaspoon sugar

2 tablespoons chili powder

INSTRUCTIONS |
In a Dutch oven or large kettle, saute onion, celery, green pepper, and garlic in butter or margarine until tender. Add the next six ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 25 minutes. Uncover and cook for 10 minutes longer. |
