Fried Green Onions

INGREDIENTS |
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt
-
2/3 cup water
-
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
-
20 green onions, cut into five-inch lengths
-
Vegetable oil

INSTRUCTIONS |
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; stir well. Gradually add water to flour mixture, stirring until smooth. Stir in sesame seeds. Dip onions in batter and fry in deep oil heated to 375°. Fry until golden, turning once. Drain well on paper towels. Serve warm. |
