Desserts - Butterscotch Pie



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg yoke
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pie shell, baked and cooled

INSTRUCTIONS
Cook the first four ingredients over medium heat until brown. The browner it is, the more butterscotch taste it will have. Mix the next three ingredients together and add to first mixture. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and pour mixture into crust. Bake at 350ยบ for 5 minutes or until brown.
