Hawaiian Chicken Burgers

INGREDIENTS |
- Burgers:

2 pounds ground chicken

2 teaspoons sesame oil
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 teaspoon peeled and minced fresh ginger

1 teaspoon salt
-
3/4 teaspoon sesame seeds
-
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
-
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-
6 fresh pineapple rings
-
Sauce:
-
1/4 cup mayonnaise
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
2 teaspoons sesame oil
-
3/4 teaspoon lime juice
-
1/4 teaspoon peeled and minced fresh ginger
-
Dash hot sauce

INSTRUCTIONS |
Combine all of the burger ingredients except the pineapple in a bowl and form into six patties about 1-inch thick. Whisk together sauce ingredients and refrigerate until ready to use. Heat a grill or grill pan to medium and cook the burgers for about 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Grill the pineapple rings for 1 minute on each side, then place a ring on top of each burger. Serve with sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. |
