Desserts - Chocolate-Mint Ice Cream

  • 6 whole eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 8 cups whole milk, divided
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon peppermint flavoring
  • Green food coloring, if desired
  • 1 (10-ounce) bag mini chocolate chips

ps milk. Heat, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to boil. Stir in 6 cups milk, whipping cream, salt, vanilla, peppermint flavoring, and enough green food coloring to reach the desired color. Freeze according to manufacturer’s directions. Stir in chocolate chips.
