Soups - Chili Soup



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 cup chopped celery and leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 11/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 (28-ounce) can tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 (15-ounce) cans chili hot beans

INSTRUCTIONS
In large pot, cook onion, pepper, and celery in oil until translucent. Add beef and brown. PureƩ tomatoes in blender; add to meat. Add remaining ingredients; cook slowly for two hours.
