Recipe of the Month Meats & Seafood - Grilled Teriyaki & Pineapple Burger



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (4- to 5-ounce) hamburger patty
  • 6 tablespoons Teriyaki sauce
  • 1 slice pineapple
  • 1 slice tomato
  • 1 leaf lettuce
  • 1 slice red onion
  • 1 bun of your choice, toasted and spread with mayonnaise or desired condiment

INSTRUCTIONS
Brush hamburger patty with Teriyaki sauce and grill for seven to eight minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°. Brush pineapple slice with Teriyaki sauce and grill for a couple of minutes.
Place burger on prepared bun. Top with grilled pineapple ring, tomato, lettuce, and red onion.
Yield: 1 serving (repeat recipe for additional servings).
