Desserts - Chocolate Peanut Butter Dessert

  • 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
  • Large package cook-and-serve chocolate pudding
  • 6 ounces whipped topping
  • Chocolate shavings

Mix vanilla wafer crumbs with melted butter and press into bottom of a 9-x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes at 350° F. Cool.

Mix powdered sugar together with peanut butter until crumbly; press on top of crumb crust.

Prepare chocolate pudding according to package directions. Pour hot pudding over peanut butter mixture. Chill.

Top with whipped topping and garnish with shaved chocolate.

Note: This is better prepared a day ahead.
