Sandwiches -
Picnic Club Sandwich

INGREDIENTS |
- 1 loaf unsliced round bread (about 9 inches in diameter)

Lettuce leaves

3/4 pound sliced cooked roast beef

1 large tomato, sliced

2/3 cup creamy Italian or Thousand Island dressing

1/3 pound sliced Cheddar cheese
-
1/2 pound sliced cooked turkey

INSTRUCTIONS |
Cut bread in half horizontally; hollow out the center of each half, leaving a ΒΌ-inch shell. Spread 1/3 cup dressing into each half of the bread; line the bottom with lettuce. Layer cheese, roast beef, remaining dressing, turkey, then tomato. Top with lettuce; replace top shell. To serve, cut into wedges. Yield: Five to six servings. |
