Recipe of the Month Desserts - Chocolate Pizza

  • 1/2 (24-ounce) package white almond bark
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup crisped rice cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 12 or more red maraschino cherries, halved
  • 4 to 5 green maraschino cherries, cut in fourths
  • 1/3 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 teaspoon oil

Reserve 1/2 of a small block of almond bark. Melt remaining almond bark and chocolate chips in a double boiler or in microwave, stirring often. Remove from heat and stir in peanuts, cereal, and marshmallows.
Pour into a greased 12-inch pizza pan. Top with cherries. Sprinkle with coconut. Microwave reserved almond bark with oil in glass measuring cup until smooth when stirred. Drizzle over coconut. Refrigerate until firm. Remove and allow pizza to reach room temperature; slice into 12 to 16 servings. Store at room temperature.
