Sauces and Marinades - Texas Barbecue Sauce



INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 teaspoons dried crushed green pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash of garlic powder
  • Dash of ground red pepper

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring often. Cool and store in refrigerator until using.
Yield: 3½ cups.
