Rice and Pasta -
Spaghetti Casserole

INGREDIENTS |
- 3 pounds ground beef

16 ounces spaghetti
-
1 large green bell pepper, chopped
-
2 bunches green onions, chopped, stalk and all, or 1 whole onion, chopped

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature

1 (16-ounce) container cottage cheese
-
1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
-
1 (16-ounce) can tomato sauce
-
1 cup water
-
1 package spaghetti sauce mix
-
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS |
Butter one 9-x-13-inch deep dish or two 8-x-8-inch dishes. Brown ground beef; drain. Cook spaghetti; drain. Place spaghetti in long dish or two square dishes. Combine pepper and onions; add cheeses and sour cream; mix and pour on top of spaghetti. Combine browned meat, tomato sauce, water, spaghetti sauce mix, and Italian seasoning; pour or spoon on top of cheese mixture. Sprinkle grated cheese of any kind on top. Bake at 350ยบ for 30 minutes. Yield: 10-12 servings.
