Meats & Seafood - Sloppy Red Hots



INGREDIENTS
  • 2 pounds wieners
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 (14-ounce) bottle ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • cup vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 drops Tabasco sauce

INSTRUCTIONS
Place wieners in a 9-x-13-inch baking dish. To make sauce, melt butter or margarine over low heat and sauté onion in it. Add remaining ingredients and cook until sauce boils.
Pour over wieners and bake, uncovered, at 350º for 25 minutes. Serve on warm hot dog buns.
