‘It’s-in-There’ Burgers

INGREDIENTS |
- 3 pounds ground beef

1 tube Ritz crackers, crushed

1 large onion, chopped

3/4 cup barbecue sauce

2 eggs, beaten
-
1 can mushroom stems and pieces, drained

3 to 4 dashes hot sauce
-
1/2 tablespoon salt
-
1/2 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
-
Swiss or Monterey Jack cheese slices

INSTRUCTIONS |
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Shape into patties; flatten but do not pound. Grill until meat reaches desired doneness. Top with cheese just before removing, allowing it to melt. |
