Quick Cheese Loaves

INGREDIENTS |
- 2 pounds ground beef

2 3/4 cups fresh bread crumbs

3/4 cup onion, chopped

1/2 cup green pepper, chopped

2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon salt
-
1/4 teaspoon pepper
-
1/4 teaspoon basil
-
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can vegetarian vegetable soup

1/4 cup milk
-
1/2 cup Swiss cheese, cubed
-
1 pint (16 ounces) meatless spaghetti sauce

INSTRUCTIONS |
Lightly mix together all ingredients except cheese and spaghetti sauce.
Shape into eight small loaves and place in a baking pan. Press cheese cubes into each loaf. Pour sauce over loaves.
Bake at 400° for 35 minutes or until browned. Can be reheated and also freezes well.
Yield: Eight servings. |
