Banana Nut Bread

INGREDIENTS |
- 3/4 cup bananas, mashed

1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

1 cup sugar

2 eggs, slightly beaten

1 1/4 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup broken pecans

INSTRUCTIONS |
Preheat oven to 325°. Cream together bananas, butter or margarine, and sugar. Add eggs and mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. Bake 45-55 minutes until golden brown or a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Note: To make 12 muffins, pour mixture into muffin tins and bake 15 to 20 minutes. |
