Stuffings and Dressings -
Stuffing for Turkey

INGREDIENTS |
- 1 (14 3/4-ounce) can cream-style corn

1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chilies

1 (4 1/2-ounce) can sliced ripe olives, finely chopped

1/2 cup shredded Colby-Jack cheese
-
1/2 cup finely chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped green or sweet red pepper
-
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley

1 egg, lightly beaten
-
1 (16-ounce) package cornbread stuffing, crushed, or 6 cups crumbled cornbread

1 1/2 cups warm chicken or turkey broth

INSTRUCTIONS |
In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Add broth and stuffing or cornbread and toss lightly. Just before baking, loosely stuff the turkey. Place remaining stuffing in a greased 1-quart baking dish. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes or until thoroughly heated. |
