Breads, Rolls, and Muffins - Cinnamon-Apple Muffins



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup apples, finely chopped

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375°. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Add remaining ingredients and stir until flour is moistened.
Spoon batter into 12 greased muffin cups. Bake for 18 to 23 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow muffins to stand for five minutes before removing from pan.
