Marinated Carrots

INGREDIENTS |
- 2 pounds carrots

1 large onion, chopped

1 large green pepper, chopped

1 cup sugar
-
3/4 cup vinegar
-
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
-
1 can tomato soup
-
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
-
1/4 cup salad oil
-
Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS |
Scrape, wash, and slice carrots. Cook until tender; drain well. Add chopped onion and green pepper to cooked carrots in a large bowl. Mix together all the remaining ingredients and pour over carrots. Cover tightly; chill several hours or overnight. Serve with slotted spoon. |
