Salads - Crunch Romaine Salad Toss



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 bunch Romaine lettuce, chopped in bite-size pieces
  • 1 bunch broccoli, chopped in bite-size pieces
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 package Ramen noodles, crumbled
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 10 chicken strips, deep-fried and chopped in bite-size pieces
  • Dressing:
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine lettuce, broccoli, onion, and chicken; set aside. In a saucepan, add butter, pecans, and noodles. Stir over medium heat until butter melts. Add oil, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir until warm. Toss over salad mixture.
