Poultry and Eggs - Honey-Baked Chicken



INGREDIENTS
  • 6 chicken breasts, halved and skinned
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted and divided
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

INSTRUCTIONS
Brush chicken with 1/4 cup melted margarine. Place flour and chicken into a plastic bag. Shake to coat chicken. Arrange chicken in a 9-x-13-x-2-inch baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Combine remaining margarine, honey, lemon juice, and soy sauce in a saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes. Pour over chicken and bake for 30 more minutes. Baste occasionally.
Yields 6 servings.
