Fruits and Vegetables - Slow Cooker Cinnamon Sugar Glazed Carrots



INGREDIENTS
  • 2 lbs. baby carrots
  • 2 tbsps. butter, melted
  • ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1½ tbsps. ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. ground ginger
  • ½ tsp. salt

INSTRUCTIONS
Spray the inside of a 4-quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Add carrots and melted butter. Toss to coat and cover. Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or until tender. Meanwhile, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and salt in a small bowl until well
blended. Toss cooked carrots with the mixture in the slow cooker just before serving. Makes 8 servings.
