Molded Waldorf Salad

INGREDIENTS |
- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin

1/3 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

11/2 cups water

1/4 cup lemon juice

2 cups tart apples, diced

1/2 cup celery, diced
-
1/4 cup pecans, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS |
Mix gelatin, sugar, and salt thoroughly in a small sauce pan. Add 1/2 cup of the water. Stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved. Remove from heat; stir in remaining water and lemon juice. Chill mixture until thickened. Fold in apples, celery, and pecans. Pour into a decorative 6-cup mold or bowl. Chill until firm. |
