Honey Cookies

| INGREDIENTS |
- 1/4 cup honey

1 stick butter or margarine, softened

1 egg

11/2 cups sugar, divided

2 cups self-rising flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon cinnamon

| INSTRUCTIONS |
Combine honey, butter, egg, and 1 cup sugar. Sift in flour, baking soda, nutmeg, and cinnamon; mix well with honey mixture. Chill dough one hour.
Preheat oven to 350ยบ. Coat baking sheet with cooking spray. Roll dough into 1-inch balls; roll in remaining sugar. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool 2 minutes; cool completely on a wire rack. |
