Reindeer Cupcakes

INGREDIENTS |
- 1 box cake mix, any flavor
-
Water, vegetable oil, and eggs called for on cake mix box

1 (1-pound) container chocolate frosting
-
Chocolate sprinkles
-
24 large pretzel twists
-
24 miniature marshmallows
-
24 small red gumdrops
-
24 red cinnamon candies

INSTRUCTIONS |
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups. Following directions on cake mix box for 24 cupcakes, make and bake them. Ice cupcakes with frosting and add chocolate sprinkles over top. For each cupcake, cut a pretzel twist in half and arrange for reindeer antlers. Cut miniature marshmallows in half; arrange on cupcakes for eyes. Center gumdrop below marshmallow halves for nose. Place red cinnamon candy below gumdrop for mouth. Note: Bake in holiday-themed baking cups for a more festive spirit. Store loosely covered. |
