Tassies

INGREDIENTS |
- 2 sticks butter or margarine

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese

2 cups flour

Filling:
-
1 cup brown sugar
-
2 tablespoons butter
-
1 egg
-
1 teaspoon vanilla
-
1 cup chopped pecans
-
Dash of salt

INSTRUCTIONS |
Cream together butter or margarine and cream cheese. Add flour and mix until combined. Refrigerate one hour or until chilled. Make into small balls the size of a quarter and press them into ungreased mini cupcake pans. (Dip fingers into flour if they stick).
Filling: Beat filling ingredients together. Put 1 teaspoon of filling in each tassie. Bake at 350ยบ for 25 minutes. |
