- 2 1/2 cups uncooked macaroni

2 tablespoons cooking oil

6 tablespoons chopped onion (1 medium onion)

2 pounds ground beef

1 tablespoon salt

Dash pepper

3 cups canned tomatoes

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 cup grated American cheese

INSTRUCTIONS |
Cook macaroni in salted, boiling water until tender. Drain. Put oil in a large skillet. Add onions and cook until tender. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper; cook until meat is browned. Add macaroni, tomatoes and chili powder. Pour mixture into 9-x-13-x-2-inch greased baking dish. Top with cheese and bake at 400ยบ for 20 to 25 minutes.
